We made it to Monck Campground in Nicola Lake only to realize that we had not brought our tent poles. We made several futile attempts to put up our tent without them without success. Tired and dusty from our 10 hour drive from Vanderhoof, we consigned ourselves to a long night.
Just then the campers across the way from us noticed our plight and kindly offered their spare tent to us.Great to have Good Samaritans in your campground!
