Eugene asked us to tie ribbons on the survey wire in his field. This field reminded me of the curse that God placed on Adam and Eve as they sinned in the Garden of Eden:
“Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you"We are sure that Eugene did not sin to have this land, though.
