The next day we got up bright and early around noon and headed toward the Chain Meadows Loop trail only to find that all but one trail was closed due to the fire hazard. We took the one trail that was still open, Sitka Falls. Considering how hot it was and how many mosquitoes there were, maybe it was not such a bad thing that the other trails were closed.
