On Thursday it was on to Vanderhoof. The restaurant in McBride that Jim had researched in Yelp was closed when we got there, but we found a wonderful restaurant beside the railway tracks and are sure that we consumed authentic McBride cuisine - hamburger, fries, and turkey sandwich.
The Yellowhead Highway is beautiful as it cuts through untamed wilderness, but we were facing the sun all afternoon.
